WEMBWORTHY - This was a very tiring week-end but a great time was had by all!

FROGS AGM
This will take place on Thursday 27th September at 2 p.m. in the Playgroup building. Volunteers are needed to be on the committee for this year. Everyone is welcome, so if you have any fund raising ideas or can offer some help during the year please do your best to attend.

FORTHCOMING EVENT
On Friday 28th September the whole school will be going to St. George's House to see photographs from around the world taken by James Davies who lives in Braunton. This is a very special presentation and will give us an insight into other parts of the world.

CLUBS
Hobbit and Computer Clubs will start next Tuesday, 25th September, from 3.15 - 4.15. Hobbit Club will be for Years 4 and 5 and Year 6 will have priority at Computer Club which will have to have a maximum of 10. If more children wish to attend we will work out a rota. After half-term Mrs. Feesey will be running a French Club. If you're interested in any of these clubs please fill in the attached form.

DANGER
Please do not let your children climb on the fences or the walls running up beside the steps at the front of the school. We have noticed several children doing this lately. It is extremely dangerous. If you are supervising children in the playground on their way home it is important that you are responsible for them once the staff have handed them over to you.

GOVERNORS ANNUAL REPORT TO PARENTS
This will be distributed next week prior to the meeting on Monday 8th October.

VOLUNTEERS
Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat................. It's that time of year again when we distribute the Webb Ivory catalogues. This is a valuable extra source of income for Georgeham School but we need volunteers to help administer it. If you are able to help at all please see either Judith Ash or Ann Harris in the office.

PLAYGROUP - CAN YOU HELP US?
Lorraine Upward is taking a term's sabbatical to travel the world from 1st December to Easter! We therefore need a temporary Playgroup Supervisor to cover for her while she is away. If you are interested, you need to have one of the following qualifications:-

- NNEB
- NVQ Level 3 in Child Care
- Diploma in Pre-School Practice
- Qualified Teacher status.

If this appeals to you, or you know of someone who, may be interested, then please see Helen Milton or Lorraine as soon as possible. Thank you. We look forward to hearing from you!
