15TH November, 2001 Issue No. 147

As you know we are all, governors, staff and parents trying very hard to achieve a building programme that will not only give us the space we need to teach the children but will also really improve the school as well. One of the ways we are trying to do this is through the Government initiated Seed Challenge. This means we have to raise 'new' money from as many sources as possible and this, we hope, will be matched pound for pound through this initiative. Funds we raise through the events organised by FROGS during November and December are vital to the success of the bid so please, please, please can you all support the parents who have already put so much effort into arranging them.

JUMBLE SALE - SATURDAY 17TH NOVEMBER, CROYDE VILLAGE HALL
There will be a cake stall at the Jumble Sale on Saturday. We would be very grateful if you could provide a cake. They can be left in a box in the school entrance hall on Friday or taken on Saturday to the Hall.

AUCTION OF PLEDGES
This takes place on Saturday 24th November. Please, if you haven't done so already, buy and pay for your tickets by Monday 19th November at the latest. Everybody has worked really hard for this and it should be a really good evening and raise lots of money.

BRING 'N' BUY SALE 17TH NOVEMBER
This is being held to raise money for Children in Need and organised by Thomas Cornell and Elliott Huggett from Year 4. It will be held at 3 Buckland Cottages from 10.00 a.m. - 12.00.

SCHOOL CALENDAR
There is a sample of this calendar on display in the school entrance hall and an order form beside it. Fifty have already been reserved so don't leave it too long before you reserve yours.
