FOOTBALL
Yesterday the boys came home with two trophies, medals each and an incredible reputation. The team spirit and the way they conducted themselves were excellent and a real credit to us all. They scored the most goals in the final rounds and were only just pipped to winning the Braunton Challenge in a penalty shoot out. Thank you to Tony Bruce who has done, and continues to do, a wonderful job training all the boys in Key Stage 2.
This afternoon we will be joined by pupils from Marwood School for friendly games of Netball and Football which we hope will be equally enjoyable, but hopefully not quite as nervewracking to watch!
NATIONAL TREE WEEK
Next week we are hoping to go to the copse we planted during the year 2000 to see how our trees are progressing. We haven't been able to do this yet this year due to the foot and mouth restrictions. Years 5 and 6 will be going on Monday afternoon to map what has survived and on Wednesday afternoon we hope to take all the family groups and re-establish ownership of some of the trees that have lost their names. Please remember COATS, WELLINGTON BOOKS OR APPROPRIATE WATERPROOF SHOES.
HOBBIT CLUB
A message from Mrs. Sexon. The Hobbit Club would be grateful for donations of old, washed tights for Smaug's tail.
