SCHOOL DINNER
After the half-term holiday Mrs. Ash will not be here on Monday mornings to collect dinner money, she will be at Caen Street School preparing the lunches. We would ask that all dinner monies are still brought into school on Monday morning by the eldest child, in an envelope clearly marked with the child(ren)'s name and class, and given to the class teacher. Mrs. Ash will collect these when she gets to Georgeham School later in the morning to serve the lunches. You may still pay in your usual pattern i.e. weekly, monthly or half-termly.
Each morning we will have to telephone Caen Street School with the numbers requiring a school lunch that day. This will have to be done by 9.10 a.m. so if your child is to going to arrive late in school but will require a lunch please let us know by 9.00.
The menu attached to last week's Newsletter shows Week 1 and Week 2. Just to clarify things this two week cycle menu will run until the kitchen is completed and not just for two weeks.
We would ask for your co-operation with these arrangements so that things can run relatively smoothly during the period of transition.
SWIMMING - KEY STAGE 2
We will be going swimming tomorrow at the Leisure Centre in Barnstaple travelling by coach. The 'gala' will run from 11.00 - 12.00 and anybody who would like to can watch from the Gallery. Some children will be attempting a distance swim, others may be going into the deep end for the first time and all will be competing in the inter-family group competition. PLEASE MAKE SURE THEY HAVE THE RIGHT KIT IN SCHOOL TOMORROW MORNING AND A DRINK. Also please make sure the children have a good breakfast as we will not be back into school until nearly one o'clock for lunch.
YEAR 6 VISIT TO LONDON
A reminder to parents of children in Year 6 that there will be a short meeting on Tuesday 26th February at 3.30 p.m. for information giving and a chance to ask any questions. If you have not already paid the £20.00 deposit we would be grateful to receive it before this meeting.
HALF-TERM HOLIDAY
The children finish school tomorrow, 15th February, for the half-term holiday and return on Monday 25th February. We hope everyone has a good break and that all the flu and cold bugs disappear. Please make sure your child takes home everything he or she owns.
