Thursday 18th April, 2002 Issue No. 162
WELCOME
We welcome Rosie, Maisie, Zak, Flora, Tilly and Jak who have all joined our school this term. We hope they settle in well and enjoy their time here. This brings our total to 114 which, as you can imagine, is not making our lives any easier in school. The building work is progressing very well indeed but please bear with us during all the continuing disruption. As we have said before it will be worth it in the end!
VISIT BY STARLAB
On Tuesday 23rd April all the children will be going at some time to Croyde Village Hall to see this exhibition. Please see on the reverse of this Newsletter a letter outlining the details for the day.
SCHOOL DINNERS
We will continue to use the kitchen at Caen Street School for at least the next two weeks until our new kitchen is fully installed and operational. If your child wishes to change from either school lunches or sandwiches please let us know as soon as possible and likewise if your child is absent because of illness and usually has a school lunch let us know. We have to telephone the numbers to Braunton by 9.15 every day so early notification from you is appreciated.
CLUBS
Computer, Sports and Cycling Proficiency will run this term but cannot start next week. We will let you and the children know starting dates as soon as possible.
CHANGE OF PERSONAL DETAILS
If any of the information you have given on the emergency contact form we keep by the telephone has changed recently please let us know. The one time we don't have up to date information is the one time we will need it.
