GOLDEN JUBILEE
The children will be going to Georgeham Village Hall after lunch tomorrow for a Jubilee tea party organised by the WI and Parish Council. Each child in the parish will receive a commemorative mug. The presentation will be at 3.00 p.m. We are not sure how much space there will be but if you would like to try and squeeze in you are welcome to watch and then pick the children up at 3.15. Please can all the children be picked up from the village hall.
NEWS FROM FROGS
Sponsored Walk - A huge thanks to all who took part. We are very pleased to announce that the total figure raised was £851.00.
Plant Sale and Coffee Morning - Teas and coffees made £48.70 and John and Jean Yeo very kindly donated £70. The total raised was £118.70. Thank you to everyone who supported this event.
Tesco Vouchers and Walkers Tokens - The latest totals are 4,860 Tesco Vouchers and 1,099 Walkers Tokens, but before the school goes ahead and decides what to order with these, we would ask you all to make a final check of your coat pockets, cupboards etc. to make sure there are no more still lurking out there. If you do unearth any more tokens or vouchers please hand them in to the office by Monday 10th June.
FRENCH CLUB
Mrs. Feesey will be running the French Club again starting on Tuesday 11th June. Please let Mrs. Feesey know if your child is interested in attending this club.
NEW KITCHEN
The new kitchen will not be finished by the time the children return on the 10th June but fingers crossed it will be up and running from the beginning of the second week back. More information in the first newsletter after half-term.
NON PUPIL DAY
Please remember that Friday 14th June is a non pupil day to enable staff to attend the Small Schools Conference.
HALF-TERM HOLIDAY
The children finish school tomorrow for the half-term break and return on Monday 10th June. We hope everyone enjoys the holiday and Jubilee celebrations.
