TOMORROW
Presentation
Tomorrow morning Year 6 children are beginning to present their own interests and hobbies to the rest of the school. This will have to happen on the school field so please could everybody make sure that they have a coat in school so this can all take place. Tomorrow afternoon Year 6 will be going to Braunton School to see part of a musical presentation and then they will be coming back early because Nick Harvey will be in school to present prizes for our anti dog fouling poster competition. Members of the Parish Council have been judging and have been incredibly impressed with the standards of our children. Look out for the posters in the near future.
NEWS FROM FROGS
Summer Fete - Friday 5th July (5.30 - 8 p.m. at Georgeham Playing Field)
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
· Tombola: could all children please donate a jar filled with sweets for this year's stall. Jars can be left in the box marked 'Sweets' in the School's hallway. Thanks!
Similarly, for the
· Book Stall: if you have any unwanted books that could be sold on this year's stall, please leave them in the box marked 'books'.
· Large BBQs/Gazebos/large tents: we would love to hear from anyone who would be prepared to lend us any of these items for the Fete. Please let Liz know on 891061.
· Cake & Plant Stalls: we will be collecting these items nearer the day, or indeed if you wish, you can deliver them to us at the Playing Field on the day of the Fete, but we would like an idea of what will be coming. So, can you please jot your name down on the sheet pinned-up in the School's hallway to let us know of your donation.
· Volunteers to help run stalls/BBQs etc. A list will be pinned-up in the School's hallway detailing what help is needed and when. Please take a moment to look at the list and pop your name, or indeed that of your partner's, down to help out for a session.
Our final plea, is to anyone who is prepared to help set-out and clear away on Fete Day, especially if you have a vehicle with a trailer, or similar, and can help with any heavy lifting - if you fit the bill, particularly any dads, please give Liz a call (891061).
NOTE FOR CYCLISTS
Please bring your bikes tomorrow for the assessment by Graham Lees after school.
