PARENTS' MEETING WITH GOVERNORS
Everyone should have received a copy of the annual report of the Governing Body of our school on Monday. There was also an invitation to attend the meeting on Monday 7th October where not only the report will be discussed but Mrs. Mortimer will also be talking about the Healthy School Award we hope to achieve this year. In the past we have discussed various aspects of our school such as our web site, homework and maths. Parents have appreciated this extra contact with staff and we hope you will take advantage of the evening and come along.

MILLENNIUM WOOD VISIT
The sun keeps on shining and Class 4 were able to make a really profitable visit to our Millennium Wood, mapping the trees and recording just how much they had grown. Thank you once again to the Pearse family for this wonderful resource.

ROAD SAFETY
Efforts continue to be made regarding a designated speed limit for Georgeham. However it is vital we keep up our road safety vigilance for the safety of all and especially of our children. Please impress on your child the importance of road safety. Parents should park either at the village hall or beyond the zig zag lines outside the school and make sure they escort the younger children into or out of the playground.
