Clubs at Georgeham

We have flourishing netball and football clubs for girls and boys.
Last year our Environment Club met on Tuesdays after school. They tidied the Nature Area and cut down some of the branches from the trees so that grass will grow in the clearing in the middle. They will be meeting again at lunchtime to carry on the good work.

We have lots of other clubs at our school at different times of the year including Tag Rugby Club and Kwik Cricket Club.

We have even had a Hobbit Club basing its work on the characters from the book.
Recorder and Guitar Clubs meet regularly and usually perform at least once a term and particularly at Christmas.
The guitar club, recorder club and other musicians finished the summer term with an excellent concert led by Des Miles. His inspirational teaching throughout KS2 will be missed by the children and staff at Georgeham.
We also have art club and computer club but usually these happen in alternate terms as does Check it out club run by the Church.

This year about 20 children have had drumming lessons with Ed Evans supported by Braunton's extended school's programme. This has been an excellent opportunity, if a little noisy!
