Millennium Memories

All the children in the school contributed to this Millennium Tapestry. The inspiration was the Parish of Georgeham: the sea, the fields, the school, the sand, the woods and the villages of Georgeham and Croyde. A print of this was made into a card at Christmas to raise money for N.S.P.C.C. and R.S.P.C.A.
We had a wonderful day celebrating aboriginal art.

We also made a CD which included many memories and the
musical New Millennium Heroes. We
performed it to herald in the Year 2000
During the year all the children in the school were given a bible by the people of the parish which had a special plate inside with their names on.

The older children walked the parish boundaries and followed three trails.

We planted acorns and other seeds ready for our Millennium Wood.

THESE WERE JUST A FEW OF THE SPECIAL THINGS WE DID DURING THE YEAR 2000.
